Sidney Smith is a Detroit native, nationally touring stand-up comedian, podcaster, and independent creator currently based in Phoenix.
His debut comedy special, Misunderstood, has surpassed 261,000 organic views and over 6 million watch minutes on YouTube, helping establish him as one of the strongest emerging independent voices in stand-up. His follow-up special, Unpicked, is now available on YouTube, with a third special already filmed and slated for release in Winter 2026.
Known for sharp storytelling, honest relationship comedy, and a grounded perspective on marriage, family, race, aging, and everyday life, Sidney brings a personal and unapologetically funny voice to the stage.
Beyond stand-up, Sidney hosts the true crime series Murderess Podcast and the relationship podcast Running In Slow Motion with his wife. He is also the founder of Sidney Smith Cre8tiv and Laugh Local Network.
